Gifts from Daycare Christmas Party

Clem was the recipient of a gift from her best bud Tacy. Fancy pink shoes, long pink gloves (not in the photo) and dangly earrings. We had to have a photo shoot.

CPR Holiday Train

Why, I don't know, but I've always wanted to see the Holiday Train as it passes through. A bit on the tired side of the evening for someone, but Clem did get to see the door of the stage come down, the dry ice come out and then Santa jumped on the stage and told everyone to "SCREEEAAAMMMM." Clem was a bit surprised when I obliged.

Georgia and Friend Make Cookies

Remember making/getting gifts for your Secret Santa. G decided to make cookies. All I did was watch as the treats emerged and take photos. Amazing!

Christmas Performance

Clem was a real trooper this afternoon. Two hours of other performances with her dance lasting 2 minutes half way through. Six sweet little 3 & 4 year olds dancing to Twas the Night Before Christmas - dressed as mice. (Just in case it's not obvious!)

What we do when Paul's away

With an abundance of eggs and potatoes (from our 2' x 5' front yard patch), this is becoming our typical lunch. In spite of the snow, the chickens are still happily providing us with 5 eggs a day - AND the house has been seeing a lot more forts (given that play outside is mucky and typically dark by day's end).
