And then came the May Long Weekend

Was a most perfect weekend. Hot, family around, lots done and to do. Time in the garden, time with the Sherwins, a visit with Devin, Jennie, Henry and Dev's family and warm weather (this written May 27 when temperature was 4 degrees this a.m. and I think my tomatoes are wondering what's up). So this is us doing not too much May Long 2011. Do I miss the lake? You betcha, but was pretty great poking around our own place, no pressure, no need to be somewhere when, just doing our own thing.

And Georgia Danced Too

One class a week, plus a performance group weekly as well = 6 performances in one week. Managed to see all her dances and was particularly inspired by the performance group effort. You can't see her doing the Swing, but her moves in Car Wash with the 5 others was stellar. Beautiful to see her loving what she's doing.

May was all about Dance

With both girls in dance, at different studios, May involved a lot of time ferrying to extra classes, rehearsals and both performing twice on one Saturday. Managed to catch both and my cheeks hurt from all my over the top, joyful smiling. Pride, pride, pride.

Mothers' Day

Caravan Farm Theatre was the draw today - a gorgeous 30 min. drive to the farm and then roaming the acres, seeing friends and taking in the offerings - goats to pet, hay ride, face painting. Fortunately only $9 in my pocket, so that's all we spent. Clem would have done the hay ride over and over.
